Breakthrough Central Texas creates a path to and through college for students who will become the first in their families to earn a college degree. Breakthrough Central Texas has touched the lives of thousands of students and their families — and hundreds of future educators — through life-changing educational experiences
The
Project
Breakthrough Central Texas was about to celebrate their 20th anniversary – and wanted a video that could showcase the evolution of the organization: its present accomplishments and future goals. They also wanted to capture footage of their different educational opportunities at Summer Schools and at High School Leadership Institute on Advising College.
The
Solution
Mosaic Media worked with the Breakthrough Central Texas team to strategize and schedule a filming plan. We filmed b-roll at their various school locations over two months and interviewed the key board members about their experiences, current employees and students, and their family members.
The
Impact
The final video has now been incorporated into Jaime White’s presentations nationwide and has also been shared in High Schools across the state. It has also been shared to hundreds of viewers on Youtube and Facebook, through both Allie’s Way pages and also video sponsors Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Passenger Safety KidSafe Initiatives website and social media as well.
