Robert Hutton is a recently retired Regional President of a Fortune 500 company, who was launching an online masterclass series and book – sharing his insights on how executives can advance their professional careers.
We sat down with Rob to talk about his masterclass and experience creating his course.
Robert Hutton wanted to leverage his remarkable experience and his meteoric rise – from selling watermelons to the Regional President of a Fortune 500 company – into a workshop that could reach a wide age range – from young professionals to mid-level executives wanting to take their career to the next level.
We had a chat with Rob Hutton them to discuss his goals for his workshop and his experience of creating the master class series.
After several in-person strategy meetings, we worked out the best approach to creating impactful and engaging videos. Using a teleprompter would help him to give a polished but natural delivery to the camera and incorporating strong stock footage as well as pulling out important quotes, would keep the visual interest for the viewer as well. We also provided feedback on the scripts used as well.
By filming Rob in his home helped to create a more relaxed look to the video, but we did this without losing the professionalism of his presentation.
Using a two-camera setup with high-resolution footage that could also be cropped, helped give our editor a variety of shots to work with. This variety of shots combined with the stock footage and animations all served to create engaging and interesting content.
We also successfully created a short high-energy promotional video to share information about the course as well as drive traffic to his website.
So far the master classes have been well reviewed by initial test groups and he is preparing for the official launch this year.
