Unlock the Power of Video Marketing for Your Law Firm

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos No Video Means No Success If your goal is to create brand awareness, generate more traffic on your firm’s website, and receive more conversions, video marketing checks all the boxes. Despite the crystal-clear appeal of video to consumers, law firms often hesitate to include it as part of their digital marketing strategy. So, if you’ve been considering ways to improve your marketing game, below are some points on how video can help and some ways you can use it in your law firm’s marketing. For more on how video can enhance your marketing efforts, check out our Video Marketing Strategies blog. Also, discover more about our Austin video production services at Mosaic Media Films. How Video Marketing Can Help Your Law Firm? Consumers love videos, and their use has expanded beyond travel or silly games. Video marketing has achieved a reputation for being an incredibly effective marketing strategy across all industries. According to some statistics:• Around 90% of video marketers claim to receive good ROI using videos.• More than 90% of marketers that use video call it an essential part of their marketing strategy.• 95% of consumers admit they like watching an explanation video, and 85% say videos influence their buying decisions. According to statistics compiled by The National Law Review, around 95% of prospective clients have started looking online for legal answers. And more than 60% of searches are non-branded, indicating that a person isn’t looking up your name but simply asking a question or searching for a “Divorce Lawyer in California.” When your firm has various ways for consumers to get the information they want and need, it will likely reach more people. While some consumers want to read, most prefer to watch a video. Even if you already have some of this information posted on your site, video marketing can pay off well for your firm. 5 Ways to Use Videos in Law Firm Marketing Roughly 250-300 hours of videos are uploaded to YouTube every minute, which is impressive. But the fact is that many of your rivals either aren’t taking advantage of video marketing or are very effective. As an attorney, you can start getting better rankings, reach more clients, receive more conversions, and improve your business results by creating high-quality videos. Here are five ways you can use videos to market your law firm. 1. “About Us” Page Make a video for your “About Us” page that presents your firm from the ground up. Include information about how you started, how your company came into being, the company’s background and mission & vision statement, and introduce your attorneys and other key staff. You might have some of this information in written form on the website. Still, a video is a more enjoyable and engaging way to connect potential clients with attorneys who may help them solve their legal matters. A video like this can make your office and staff seem less intimidating and more approachable to potential clients. You might also like to include it on your website’s home page. 2. Video Series Another interesting way to use videos in your law firm’s marketing is to create videos tied to a specific topic, such as disability law, divorce, or trucking accidents. If you are a personal injury lawyer, you can come up with a series of videos about what to expect from a personal injury case. You can also include videos explaining the best way to deal with insurance companies, getting medical care, and avoiding common personal injury case mistakes. 3. Case Studies Potential clients generally wish to know if you have successfully handled cases like theirs and achieved positive results. It might not be possible for you to cover all the cases, but you can showcase some of your experience and past successes with video case studies. You can create some videos of your firm’s attorneys explaining a specific case from start to finish. If the client approves of it, you can even ask them to testify how your firm solved their legal issue. This gives your clients a good sense of what they can expect from your firm. 4. Testimonials Most of the legal clients still arrive via referrals and word of mouth. Even the ones who get a recommendation from family or friends are likely to do independent research on your firm before contacting you. If no reviews or testimonials are available, even a personal referral might be insufficient. Video testimonials are fantastic ways to reach that segment of your audience that is researching your online reputation before deciding if you should be hired. More than a few printed quotes from your past clients, these pieces portray more credibility and trust and are likely to influence the viewers’ decisions. 5. Live Streaming If you have not included social media in your digital marketing strategy, you are losing big time on the benefits of meeting clients where they spend most of their time. One of the best features of social media, particularly Facebook and Instagram, is the ability to “go live” with your videos. Many law firms are taking advantage of this and hosting informal live sessions on Facebook, LinkedIn, and even Instagram that feature Q&A sessions, a discussion on the current hot topics, or other interesting information. One of the benefits of these live videos is that they don’t disappear forever when you hit the “stop” button. Visitors can access the recorded versions of your live sessions as long as you keep them posted on your social media. Should You DIY or Hire a Video Team? Videos aren’t necessarily complicated, so your firm can try creating some without a dedicated marketing agency or videographer. But while you have other things on your plate, you might not possess the tools to do quality video editing. If you wish to create marketing videos that will have the most impact, it makes sense to hire a digital marketing agency that will help you get the most out

See Bigger Returns: Why Video Marketing Means Serious ROI

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos If you’re aware of how powerful video can be for your brand, then you’re already on the right path. However, convincing others on your team, such as your boss, might be a bit trickier. Don’t worry—by highlighting the return on investment (ROI) of your video marketing efforts, you can present a strong case for why your brand should invest in video marketing. Video isn’t just a fun asset for social media; it can be used across various channels like webinars, emails, product pages, and landing pages to support larger business goals. To explore how video marketing can enhance your strategy, check out our Why Video for Business is Important blog and learn more about our video marketing services at Mosaic Media Films. Visit our Austin video production page for more details! In this post, we’ll highlight the best reasons to invest in video marketing and share actionable tips on how to get leadership on board. Let’s dive in! Show Video’s Sustained Growth And Increased Adoption In 202, the rise of COVID-19 led to increased businesses embracing video marketing. Many platforms saw a 120% increase in the weekly upload of videos in 2020. Though these numbers have decreased a bit since the height of the pandemic, there’s still an increase in video uploads. What does this spike in uploads indicate? This means that video, as a core marketing and communications tool, is here to stay long. Video adoption is rising across the board as marketers seek new ways of humanizing their brands and connecting with their audiences. In 2020, more than 80 percent of businesses used video as an integral part of their marketing strategy, and more than 90 percent of marketers called it an important part. This matches the consumer preferences as 69 percent of people surveyed indicated that they would prefer learning about a product or service with a video versus other formats like articles, website content, or ebooks. The cherry on the cake? Cisco estimates that video will represent more than 80 percent of all internet traffic by the end of the year. This indicates that to reach most of your audience, you need to adopt video. Videos can help your brand at all stages, with the top-funnel stage like growing your audience and the bottom-funnel stage like generating more leads and sales. Share Relevant Video Marketing Success Stories Instead of trying to tell your boss how it might or could work, show them how videos have already worked for other brands. Start by collecting a few video marketing examples to help your manager realize the importance of what you’re trying to do. Remember, most leadership roles work on tight schedules, so you better not overwhelm them with many examples. Pick the best and the most relevant two or three specific examples that showcase the type of video content you wish to create. Presenting instances of successful video marketing efforts from a brand that your boss admires is a great starting point. If they’re already familiar with the brand and love their content, an example from that brand might excite them enough to try something similar. Another way to motivate them is to show the video marketing endeavors of a direct competitor. Highlight how much video content a competitor is creating and build your argument in the context of staying competitive within your market. And if videos aren’t widely used in your industry or niche, it is even better! This is an opportunity for your business to stand out from the crowd. To achieve the value of video marketing, try selecting at least one example where you can put forth accurate results. For example, it could be a viral video that was popular on social media. Tracking conversions as a success metric is not easy, but it is also not impossible. You probably will not be able to analyze how a video led to increased sales or leads since that data is typically internal to a business. If your boss still wants to see those metrics, search for case studies from video marketing platforms highlighting how videos helped companies meet their goals. Underline The Value Of Repurposing Video Content A single video can be repurposed for different sources of content marketing for your brand. More content emerging from one video means more time for your brand to work on other marketing endeavors. In a way, repurposing your video content can be a time and resource saver for your brand. Rather than telling your boss that you will put all this time and effort into creating a single video, underline just how much content can come from that one video. In other words, convince them of a content package. One video can result in multiple podcast episodes, blog posts, social media content, ebooks, etc. A video can add stars to the written content you already have. Including a video in a blog post can increase search engine visibility and help you rank better for more keywords. Make It Clear That Video Won’t Cost A Fortune The usual cost of creating a video is a common concern for many marketers who don’t possess a dedicated video team or prior video experience. They might feel that video marketing sounds nice on paper, but they’re afraid it will cost a lot and doubt whether they’ll see a return on that investment. Billing video marketing as a small, internal affair makes the process seem less intimidating. Rather than hiring external production staff to help you with a video, give employees with some video creation experience an opportunity to help. The cost of all the video equipment is another hesitation your boss may have. They might assume that video marketing means bringing in a professional-grade camera and a recording studio for voice-overs. If you already have access to those things, that’s good — but it is not necessary when you’re first getting started. If you’re in for an introductory video gear setup, the Logitech Brio, available in the

A/B Testing for Video: How to Improve Viewer Engagement and Drive Results?

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos Not all businesses require content marketing to sensationalize themselves. Some industries don’t naturally lend themselves to attractive visual or written content. You probably know what we are discussing if your company is in medical supply management software or aircraft fasteners. However, you don’t have to miss out on the increased sales and revenue that engaging content can bring. Video marketing is an excellent way to transform otherwise straightforward content into something compelling and valuable.   By leveraging brand storytelling videos, you can bring complex topics to life, making them more relatable and engaging for your audience. Ready to elevate your industry’s messaging? Mosaic Media Films can help. This version integrates the links naturally while keeping the content engaging. Let me know if you need tweaks! Today, we shall discuss many creative ways to involve video in your marketing strategies to create engaging content. Before Calling Yourself Boring, First Identify What’s Interesting About You. The first and foremost thing to spice up your content before drafting your first video script or video concept is to think of everything that makes your company interesting and jolt it down on paper. There’s always something that makes a company or industry really important. For example, people might find a Waste Management company really “Eww!” but as a company, you must have an idea about what’s interesting about you, like the new island that’s being created with the giant trash in the middle of the ocean. How and when did all the junk reach there, etc? Focus on questions like what keeps you excited about what you’re doing? Or how can you present this information to the world to interest them? Why is it important to convey it to your potential as well as existing customers? If you consider answering all these questions before coming up with your content, what you bring to the table won’t be boring! Give The Front Seat To Your Expertise, But Remember To Make It Interesting! You can start making videos once you determine what makes your company interesting and then create videos around that. After all, you know your business well and what makes your business interesting to associate with! You can put all of this in an attractive video. You Do Not Have To Be Boring If You Think Your Industry Is! The top executives or TLs might be the best in their respective fields, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be equally good at expressing their knowledge. If your team members lack those “scintillating” presentation skills, you can hire a charismatic orator or spokesperson to spruce up the otherwise plain discussion. Alternatively, you can create an “Event Video” presenting how interesting or fun it is for your team to work in this business/industry. By showcasing real people and actual personalities in your video, it becomes easier to catch the attention of the right user. Tell Real Stories To Make Your Viewers Feel Connected Telling stories is one thing but bringing them to life is what matters. Video lets you tell stories so compellingly that simple blog posts cannot. Tell stories with a customer or employee testimonial and have real people narrate their own stories. Bring Life To An Otherwise Boring Topic By Showing The Subject In Action Video lets you crop them without cropping the key points. This helps you engage the viewers who might not be interested in some specific bit of the video. For instance, if you want to produce a brand video highlighting your company’s vision and mission, don’t only involve your CEO or spokesperson’s speech. Rather, portray your employees, customers, or business partners working and interacting. Modify Your Approach To Traditional Content Formula Your creative team really needs to think out of the box and spice up the boring bits because not all video types can bring life to complex subjects. Suppose you’re filming your CEO’s interview for an FAQ video, try adding a little fun by maybe trying spicy hot sauces after every question. Though First We Feast has already tried this idea, you can copy this with a new twist or think of a completely new idea. Provide Value With Video Creating a video is not just for the sake of having a video; rather, it is important to provide something valuable to your viewers through the video. Understanding the needs of the customers and creating videos that will satiate their queries is what is called creating value for your customers. You can create FAQ videos, how-to videos, tutorial videos, or DIY videos to solve your users’ problems and have them look up to you whenever they feel stuck regarding something related to your brand. Transform A Conventional Technical Manual Into An Interesting Video Series You’ll be creating a lot of technical content manuals while working in a technical industry. You can transform them into a rather interesting form using video series. You can transform tech guides into tips-and-tricks videos or use a tutorial video to describe the step-by-step installation process. Animation can be used to describe software, automation, or similar products or you can develop new video ideas to turn your old content into fresh, interesting stuff. Video Is The Army To The King Of Content! With increasing competition in the business world, getting the right amount of attention is of utmost importance. Video can prove to be a masterstroke in the game of marketing and can help you realize your goals in a much effective manner. BLog 13 How To Use Video Captions To Attract And Engage Users Mosaic Media Films

How Video Captions Help You Engage More Viewers and Expand Your Reach?

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos Video is taking marketers by storm as a champion for attracting and engaging internet users. Over half a billion people watch Facebook videos daily, and nearly one-third of all online activities involve watching videos. With such massive engagement, it’s clear that video marketing is an essential tool for reaching the right audience at the right time. One surefire way to boost your video’s effectiveness? Captions! As surprising as it may sound, many marketers overlook the power of subtitles. Yet, adding captions is one of the easiest ways to improve engagement, accessibility, and retention. Want to take your video content to the next level? Mosaic Media Films can help! Let’s discuss the importance of captions in your video’s performance to understand how they can be used to go that extra mile. What Video Captions Are? Video captions or Subtitles, as they are popularly known, are the written texts put atop a video representing the verbal speech of the video. They can help clarify what’s being spoken in the view and can be classified as Open or Closed. ‘Open’ means that they are visible and can’t be put off by the viewer, and ‘Closed’ means that they can be put on or off as and when the viewer desires. Video captions are the same as the transcription but are synced to the video’s time codes, permitting the viewers to understand what’s being said in the video. Top 3 Advantages Of Including Captions In Videos Apart from making the videos more understandable, captions benefit them much more. Whether it is boosting engagement metrics or search engine optimizations or making videos easily understandable for people with disabilities, video subtitles have a great power to boost your brand’s value. 1. Engagement Firstly and most importantly, adding subtitles aids in boosting engagement metrics across the board. Read on the following stats to know more: Facebook suggests that including captions in your video can increase the view time by around 12 percent. During an experiment run by Discovery Digital Networks, it was found that captioned videos received more than 7 percent more views (on an avg). A new study saw an increase of 40 percent in the number of views on captioned videos as compared to uncaptioned videos. The above-mentioned study also observed that the viewers were 80 percent more likely to watch a video with closed captions till the end. Facebook experiences more than 80 percent of the video being watched on mute. If you ever encounter contradicting statistics, send them to us! Your videos need to be vibrant and bold to gain viewers’ attention, but sometimes, this is not enough to make your video stand out. In such cases, including words that connect with your viewers makes your video stand apart from the crowd! 2. Accessibility Looking for another significant benefit of involving subtitles in your video content? Accessibility is the answer! More than 28 million adults in America have hearing impairments and rely on captions to understand what’s happening in a video. Without the subtitles, this population would lose out on your content. Beyond that, if your video is in a specific language, say English, you’re losing out on a very large audience that is not English-speaking. Adding captions in your target language helps you reach your audience around the globe. 3. Search Engine Optimization Lastly, subtitles can contribute a lot to your SEO efforts. When you add your video’s transcription in the video description, it becomes easy for your content to rank higher in organic SEO results as it facilitates the crawling of the search engine. Along with adding subtitles in your videos, embed relevant videos on your main web pages, blogs, landing pages, et,c to boost your SEO efforts. When should Video Captions be used? Only if you’re using music in your video that isn’t relevant to your video’s content should you consider not using captions. Otherwise be it brand videos, DIY videos, how-to videos, or social videos, captions are mandatorily needed to grab attention on the right channels. Before posting your video, consider the different distribution methods and audiences’ state of mind to decide whether captions will work. Use Auto-Generated Captions or Make Your Own? Captions come in various options, mostly auto-generated by players like YouTube, in pretty white fonts on a black background. But many players allow customizable captions, too, to improve the user experience. The subtitles can be unreliable as they are often generated by machine learning algorithms, as accepted by YouTube, and cannot always be accurate. This is why it is advisable to caption the video on your own ensuring the readability and accuracy of the captions. But you can also go for auto-generated captions by checking them before posting for relevance and accuracy. If the auto-generated captions aren’t accurate, write your own to get the best results. Conclusion Captions can do a lot to the performance of your video, even if somebody is watching the video on mute or scrolling quickly on the screen. Adding subtitles to a video can bring in a lot of positive results if they’re done with accurate care. Coupled with beautiful animations or graphics and a great storyline, captions are the last step to put a cherry on the cake and create videos that your audience will love! Provide Good Quality SEO Content SEO-driven marketing strategies will be a big opportunity for brands that employ them efficiently. Based on the data collected in the past two years through our campaigns, it was found that there’s a huge opportunity to improve brand visibility through organic content. The key is to improve the quality of the content by providing a relevant solution to the users’ search intent and presenting it to satisfy their query. This includes making use of supporting video images and decently structuring the content. -Igor Kholkin CEO, Avidon Marketing Group   2. Adjust Your Content For Omni-Channel Experience With increasing channels and online time, consumers will be interacting with your brand in a number of different digital spaces, and it would be a disservice to your brand on your behalf if they aren’t properly aligned. The messaging and visual elements for your campaigns should tell an integrated story across all the channels. -AlexaNizam Content Strategist, Lemonlight 3. Be Attentive to the Changes In Social Media As digital marketers, you should be attentive to the changes that are gradually emerging in the social media space. With the various regulations coming up as to what users can and cannot post on their profiles on different social media, decentralizing networks is important to take their place. The coming decade is all about pleasing, valuing, and empowering the users. -Joel Comm Speaker, Author, and Functional Futurist  4. Provide A Wonderful Customer Experience 2021 is going to be the customers’ year more than ever! A massive shift in the beliefs regarding what marketing actually is being observed. The priority has changed from convincing people to make a purchase to providing the best customer experience that will have people coming back for more. In meaning, the market works for you if you concentrate on building the best possible business culture with positivity and providing the best in class service. -Michael Brenner CEO, Marketing Insider Author of Mean People Suck   5. Integrate Your Tactics And Strategy As a B2B tech marketing agency, we observe that with companies realizing their digital transformation, their PR and marketing efforts are taking a back seat. Employing a carefully thought-out integrated approach to tactics and strategy is reaping great benefits for the clients. So, instead of PR being at the forefront, marketing departments are smartly involving employee advocacy and executive communications as a part of their integrated strategy that keeps people at the center of the message distribution process. -Mel Carson Founder and CEO, Delightful Communications   6. Participate Authentically Finding and engaging with your tribe authentically using digital marketing tools is not merely a TREND—it can be seen as a long-term strategy for building leadership in your experience domain. For a brand like mine, LinkedIn provides an amazing platform for sharing my knowledge, ideas, and experiences with my audience consistently.  To have this really work for you, you must be authentic and willing to give without expecting anything in return. The one question prior to writing, sharing, and posting content is whether it will add value to my tribe.  The outcomes are never instantaneous- it has taken years for me to foster my tribe and continue building my voice and the company’s voice. It involves putting a lot of creativity, dedication, and willingness to present yourself/brand out there for others to notice. When you do this wholeheartedly, you’ll find your niche client, and they’ll start approaching you for help. -Aaron Levy Founder and CEO, Raise The Bar Author of Open, Honest, and Direct   7. Handle User Data In An Effective Manner Mapping the journey of customers along with the content will result in growth and conversions. Engaging the right users on the right device at the right time is evidently critical and challenging. With user data defining the future of marketing, managing this data effectively would be a mission for most brands. -Tarun Kumar Digital Marketing Manager, MoEngage   8. The Future Of Media Buying Will Depend On Programmatic Advertising Programmatic Advertising basically corresponds to making the use of AI for buying media on digital channels such as OTT, video, mobile, apps, social, etc. Digital media planners prefer it since it gives control to the marketer’s hands by providing more transparency and helping them run targeted marketing campaigns in a safe environment, automate marketing campaigns and measure ROAS accurately. -Arti Prasad Digital Strategist, MoEngage 9. Delve Deeper Into Topics The majority of content available online is still weak. Go deeper into each and every topic to gain an extra edge against your competitor. Try giving a solution to one more related question before publishing your content, or consider adding one more example image or quote. As per the most recent blogging statistics, going bigger corresponds to doing better. -Andy Cresodina Co-founder and CMO, Orbit Media Studios Category Name Some title for relevant video Goes Here here Know More Mark Wonderlin Mark Wonderlin is the visionary founder of Mosaic Media Films. This is a nice way to reuse an old clip, giving it a fresh touch!  Obtain User-Generated Testimonial Videos The best way to produce in-person is to obtain content from your customers. The authenticity of such user-generated videos adds beauty to your video content.  Customers do not look for fancy content produced in fancy production studios. Instead, they look for something they can connect with, and having your real customers share their views on your brand can create the maximum connection. As for creating such videos, your customers can just use their smartphones; they are good to go!  Try Remote Product Shoot Considering today’s scenario and limitations, we’ve developed remote product shoot options for our clients. Customers can send us their products, and we can stage and film your products in the best possible way to present them in all their glory. This way, you can ensure that all health and safety guidelines are taken care of while filming video content for your brand.  Animation Video Production As per today’s environment, Animation Videos are the best option. They manipulate bare pictures and graphics to create a sense of motion and develop interesting video content. It is a fun and easy method that ensures that all health and safety measures are abided by during filming.  Curate Stock Footage If you think the above options are unsuitable, Stock Footage might interest you. Stock pictures might seem generic or cheesy to some customers, but not all are like that. You’ll get better content when you enter into the paid stock footage category.  Initiate Pre-Production Lastly, if nothing from the above list suits your goal, start your pre-production activities to lat. As businesses navigate these shifts, many are looking to China’s experience for insights on recovery and resilience. Video marketing has emerged as a powerful tool in this transformation, helping brands maintain visibility and engagement despite economic uncertainties. The report’s findings are suggestive of how video is crucial for brands to engage with their audience throughout this pandemic. Having said that, it is completely understandable that it is not the right time for a lot of businesses to spend resources on video production and we are not encouraging you to go for video production if it is not a priority for your business. Why Video Marketing Is a Must-Have for Business Growth?

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos This year has brought in a great time for video advertising. Whether you’re scrolling through your phone, watching TV, or passing by digital billboards, video marketing in Austin is taking over every possible platform. As businesses adapt, it’s crucial to implement strategies that maximize engagement and visibility. One way to ensure your video content stands out is by leveraging the power of effective video marketing techniques. Video has a unique ability to connect with audiences, blending entertainment, education, and brand storytelling into a compelling experience. Read on to find the top ten reasons your business needs a video. 1. Videos Are Educational Videos can be used to teach people. You can use videos to train, educate, entertain, and explain all at once. If you’re trying to teach something complicated, video is the best option. It is a great way of grabbing interest and keeping people-focused. It allows you to use both—the audio and the visual elements together to convey your message in the best possible way.  2.  Videos Earn Good Rank in Search Engines Just publishing something online is not enough—it is more important than people are able to find it. Many Search Engines, including Google, consider videos easier to rank and highly relevant as compared to other blogs or articles. Try adding a relevant video to your existing blog post and watch how it impacts the organic traffic.  3. Videos Are Easier to Share Than Any Other Content There are high chances that you have come across viral videos over the past months. This is due to the fact that it is very easy to share videos. Many distribution platforms support video sharing across different platforms. Even if your video doesn’t go viral, it is still sure to create more buzz than any other content, provided, it is relevant and well-written.  4. Videos Are Popular Everybody absolutely loves videos nowadays. This is why YouTube alone garners billions of views every day. This renders video as the most preferred and natural way to reach an audience. A study suggests that people actually want brands to come up with more video content as opposed to images or texts.  5. Videos Are Mobile-Friendly See everyone around you using mobile phones more than ever? Most of them are involved in watching videos. Recent researches suggest that mobile devices are increasingly being favored in the customer buying journey. Users use their smartphones to gather information, browse products online, make purchases, and whatnot. You can use videos on different mobile platforms to capture the audience.  6. Videos Add The Sense of Personal Touch Videos provide you a chance to get personal and add a face to your brand. Using videos gives you a chance to build personal relationships with your customers rather than just selling something. With video tools becoming more robust, the ability to personalize content is getting more powerful. You can use DIY videos or consumer testimonials or fun stories to get more viewers engaged with your video.  7. Videos Are Cost-Effective As a marketer, you always try to create an affordable as well as effective marketing strategy. Nowadays, it has become easier to launch a good professional video marketing campaign without burning a hole in your pocket. You can simply use your smartphone to film a basic video. Once created, it can be shared on multiple platforms like your own website, YouTube, Facebook, etc.  8. Your Competitors Use Video Too All of the competitors are benefitting from videos and you must too! Don’t give them a chance of benefiting from you not using video for your promotion. On the offside, be the leader and make the best use of video for your brand if your competitors aren’t using it already.  9. The Results of Using Video For Your Promotion Are Measurable To be sure if your marketing strategies are working well, you can use various analytics tools to track the performance of your videos. You can see the number of views, likes, and shares that your video received but there are many platforms that let you see metrics like the exact duration someone watched your video up to, providing deeper insights into your video’s performance and where you need to improve.  10. Videos are Ever-Lasting Once uploaded online, your video will last there forever, unless, of course, you delete it explicitly. Users can still come across your video months or years later when they search for relevant keywords. It can contribute to your long-term success and open new horizons of brand promotion for you.  Contact us if you’re ready to incorporate video into your marketing strategy and help us be a part of your success. Why Your Videos Aren’t Getting Watched—And What You Can Do About It

The Secret Formula for Creating Viral Videos When’s the last time you scrolled through YouTube and clicked on a video-based solely on what you saw on screen, thinking, “Ooh, this looks pretty/interesting/etc., I want to learn more”? You might also be thinking that if you’ve got a great video, people will automatically swarm to your pages like flies — but if you don’t select a thumbnail that clearly shows your audiences what that superb content is all about, you might miss out on reaching them altogether. A strong thumbnail is key to a successful video marketing strategy, helping capture attention and increase engagement. It works hand in hand with other video production techniques to ensure your content stands out in a crowded digital space. By optimizing thumbnails, you can enhance your video’s impact, making it an essential component of your broader brand video marketing efforts. Thumbnail: What is It? A thumbnail is a static image that aims to grab your viewers’ attention — and it’s so important because it’ll be the primary reason your viewers scroll on or click through. Think of it like the cover of a book — we all know we’re not supposed to judge books by their covers, but it’s often the first thing we consider when sifting through the shelves. The same goes for a thumbnail! The best ones provide a visually striking rendition of what your video will be about, serving to educate and inform your viewers while sparking their interest. Still not sure you know what a good thumbnail looks like? That’s okay! We’ve got two great examples from our video “5 Tips to Choosing the Right Video Production Team” that’ll clearly show you the difference between a great thumbnail and one that’s only “good enough.” Let’s start with the one on the left. It’s not horrible, but sticky notes cover the subjects’ faces; the image is a bit blurry, and we don’t know what’s going on — are they planning a new project or making a grocery list? Who knows! This video could have been made for countless companies and covered countless subjects. As you can see, the image on the right is much better. Not only is it well-lit and well-shot, but the subjects’ faces aren’t nearly as covered as in the first image, and it gives the viewer a better understanding of what the video content will be about. Now that you understand what makes up a good thumbnail let’s dive into how you can select the right one for you. Option 1: Select Image from Video Content The simplest way to select a thumbnail is to pull it from your video content. Think about it this way: You’ve spent hours and hours shooting interviews, gathering B-roll, editing, animating, revising — doing all the necessary hard work to make a great video. The thumbnail should culminate all that hard work: the most important, cleanest, and most concrete bite. Whether you plan to upload your video on YouTube, Vimeo, or elsewhere, try selecting your thumbnail ahead of time to maintain consistency across platforms. On the other hand, you can also select different thumbnails and use them across different platforms to see which one does best! It’s important to note that while these platforms can auto-generate a thumbnail for you, they might not select the best possible image for you to use — however, they can be a great place to start if you need a little guidance! Option 2: Create a Custom Thumbnail Depending on the content of your video, your company, and your brand, you might want to consider creating a custom thumbnail for your video. A custom thumbnail provides your viewers with just a bit more information about your video, commonly including your company logo, colors, branded text that represents the topic of your video or the video title, graphics, and any other relevant information. This can be a great tool to use when trying to grow your reach and maintain brand consistency — but be careful not to scare off potential viewers by making your thumbnail too busy or intricate. For best results, create a short and informative title on top of a relevant, clean image. Like this: We made this thumbnail for one of our clients, Freedom Boat Club! It’s got their logo, a clear image showing what they’re all about, and a short, informative title that gives some insight into what we’ll be learning. So whether you decide to go the custom route or just want to pull an image from your video, selecting a proper thumbnail is a vital step to take if you want to increase your viewership and grow your company to new heights.
