About This Project
Allen Bailey wanted to give his grandchildren something more lasting than a bedtime story, a documentary style lesson on Ernest Shackleton’s doomed 1914 voyage aboard the Endurance. We combined his on camera narration with animation, motion graphics, and archival photos to bring the crew’s 10,000 mile journey and their stranding on Elephant Island to life for his family.
