The Perfect Facebook Video Post

The Perfect Facebook Video Post

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Whether you have a Facebook business page, private group or a personal page; posting your videos on Facebook regularly is going to help increase share, likes, and engagement.

However, simply putting the youtube link in your post and leaving it like that is NOT what you want to do. Follow these simple steps and you’ll be able to create a perfect Facebook Video Post.

Step 1: Download Video

First, download your video from the dropbox link we provided once the video was approved. If you already have it on your hard drive, then that’s perfectly fine too.

Step 2: Write Post

Once you have Facebook Open, first starting writing your post. Depending on your goal will determine specifically what you write. Your goal could be: Shares, clicks on a sale, engagement or something else. So craft your post in a way that will help achieve that goal.

For instance, let’s take a testimonial video we did for Orange Theory Fitness and write different posts based on different goals.

If the goal is to share we’d say something like: “What an incredible life-changing story from Veda, SHARE her journey with others who would find it inspiring.”

When is the goal a promotion or sale we’d say something like: “What will your story be? Start your fitness journey today and get your first class for free.” Then just leave a call to action link call, click or stop in.

If your goal is engagement, then you could say something like, “It’s been amazing to how Veda was able to overcome her challenges to get where she is today. What challenges have you had to overcome this year?”

Step 3: Tag

Once your post is written, make sure to tag anyone that’s in the video. For the OrangeTheory example, this could be people being interviewed, people that were working out, and coaches. When people are tagged, they get a notification and the probability of them sharing the video increases – well, simply because they know it’s available to share in the first place.

Step 4: Upload

Now since you have the video already downloaded, the next step is uploading it directly to Facebook. When you do this it will automatically play on the facebook feed which will help grab viewers attention and increase views, shares, and likes. Simply click on the photo/video button, then navigate to where the video is located on your computer. Select the video and allow it to upload. Then, just click POST and you’re all set!

Taking these simple steps to posting your video on Facebook will help your overall Facebook performance. Don’t limit yourself to just your business page, make sure to post on both your personal and private group pages as well.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
